Confirm the exact volumes
Box sets may cover only one story arc or a portion of a longer series. Compare the volume list with what the recipient already owns.

Manga box sets: a gift worth getting right
A manga box set can be a brilliant gift because it offers a whole reading experience rather than a single volume. The crucial detail is choosing the right story and confirming exactly what the set contains.
What should I check when buying a manga box set in the UK?
Check language and format
Look for English-language editions if that is what they read, and verify paperback or hardback format, publisher and print edition.
Think about condition
For collectors, seals, slipcases, posters or bonus booklets may matter. Check whether the edition is new, complete and supplied by a reputable retailer.

A different interest, a smaller budget or a change of occasion can make the right gift much easier to find.
